Apartment Metering Package
Metering an apartment or unit block means a board that separates retailer metering from customer distribution across many tenancies — and the box, panels and links to match. EVO Electric packages the multi-tenancy metering gear onto one quote so the electrical contractor or Level 2 ASP orders a coordinated metering solution for the building in a single order.
What's typically in an apartment metering package
An apartment metering package is built around a custom switchboard with a separate retailer metering enclosure and customer distribution, tenancy terminal blocks, labelling and sealing provisions. We add the bakelite panels cut to the metering layout and the sealable neutral links so the metering side of the building arrives as one coordinated set.
How the package is specified
Send the tenancy count, the maximum demand calculation and the network area, and our fabrication team sizes the enclosure, busbar arrangement and metering sections to suit. Panels are cut so each tenancy's metering is clearly separated, ready for the ASP to terminate and the network to inspect.
How ordering and delivery works
The board, panels and links go on one quote, fabricated together in our Sydney factory and dispatched as a set. EVO fabricates and supplies the gear; the building's electrical contractors and Level 2 ASP install and connect it, and the ASP confirms the installation meets the network's requirements.
