Duplex Meter Box Package — Bankstown

Matched meter box packages supplied for a two-dwelling duplex build, pre-configured so the builder's electrician could mount and terminate on site without reworking the metering layout.

Bankstown, South-West Sydney 18 June 2026

What EVO Supplied

  • Two 600x600 galvanised meter boxes with hinged doors
  • Individual metering panels pre-drilled for the dwelling layout
  • Main switch and service fuse enclosures per dwelling
  • Fixing hardware and gland plates

The supply brief

A builder working a standard side-by-side duplex in Bankstown needed two separately metered supplies with a consistent look across both dwellings. They came to us for the metering enclosures and panels rather than piecing the package together from multiple suppliers. We confirmed the network's metering requirements with the contractor and put together two matched boxes ready for install.

What EVO supplied

We supplied two 600x600 meter boxes with panels pre-drilled to suit the intended main switch and metering position, plus the service fuse enclosures. The panels were set out identically so both dwellings read the same way — useful for the certifier and for whoever services the property later. Everything shipped as two labelled packages so nothing got mixed up on site.

How it went together on site

The builder's own electrician handled the mounting, cabling and terminations. Because the boxes arrived configured to the agreed layout, the on-site work was a mount-and-terminate exercise rather than a fabrication job. EVO did not attend site or perform any installation — our part was getting compliant, ready-to-fit gear to the contractor on time.
